I posted this on the forum, thought it might raise a spirit or two, will have to write one for all our fab Grandpas now!!!!!

What is a Gran.

A Gran is like a big armchair,

Someone who listens and cares.

She is wise and never judges,

Just there with caring nudges.

A Granddaughter is like a huge sunflower,

Always smiling, is her power,

Bright and lively, never still,

Her birth was such a thrill.

Where has it all gone wrong,

Just to hear her pretty song,

I would give anything, to hear her sing,

To hold her hand, is everything.
