Good to talk to you just now. Thanks for agreeing to search your database for me.

I'm looking for Grandparents who don't get to see their grandchildren, to talk to them about their experiences in the run up to Christmas. At this time of year, I should imagine it's even harder to deal with the fact that you don't get to see part of your family.

I produce the mid morning programme on BBC Radio Manchester, which is presented by Heather Stott. We often speak to people about their life experiences. Heather is well used to questioning people sensitively about these kinds of issues. I understand some people might worry about speaking under their name - we could use an assumed name for the purpose of the interview. We would have to point out to the audience that we're not using a real name though.

We cover the whole of Greater Manchester, so we're looking for people from:
