The home test for bowel cancer was sent to me and I put it to the side. My wife Margaret nagged me to do it. I’m glad I did for I had only two years if I hadn’t.
I would like thank everyone who sent me their good wishes throughout the past year when I had ¾ of my colon removed due to bowel cancer. Today 28th September 2010 my blood and scan was absolutely fine. A colonoscopy will be done to make sure there are no new start ups which can be dealt with early on and check up tests in six months.
The man who worked this miracle and saved my life is Mr Alan Hair Surgeon at the Glasgow Victoria Hospital to him my heartfelt thanks and all the staff at the Victoria Infifmary.
